| it actually allows for up to 32X the original texture size, but we want to keep this as "playable" as possible considering that some low end computers might not be able to handle above 16X (most of the textures are only 4X but important things like the skyboxes are 16X ) | |

| I'm going to be little honest - doesn't look very venom-ish ^^'' - the ground doesn't compliment the sky box for some reason o.o - maybe my screen is wacky.
maybe a tint of orange and black? and more details/res
I like it atm though ^^ | |

| dang it. paint.net can do many things but it can't fix the small mess i've made of this skybox. i guess i'll just have to wait for andross to fix it for me but this is what it looks like at the moment. you can see that there's only some small glitches in it at the moment. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]EDIT: fixed it myself after experimenting for a while and some small (yeah right) tweaks here's the final product: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

thanks. the "snow" was just a result of the transparency plugin that i used to seperate the mountains from the sky in their original picture. but unfortunately all other colors to replace the blue kinda failed so i just used white instead to fill in the mountains.

| That's look empty but still a good job. Did you change the base? The one in the center of the map. | |

| I kinda like the Venom style. That dark green adds up to the remote feeling of being on this planet. Like it's so far that the Sun light (or Lylat light in this case) is very dim.
Also, it looks a bit odd to find snowy peaks on Katina, as it was never referenced as a snowy/mountainous planet, but I guess that for the sack of this work it could look OK.

Did you change the base? The one in the center of the map. it looks empty because i flew to the edge of the map so that i could get a shot of the skybox by itself. believe me there was still everything there if you look at the radar XD Edit: ok i've had my fair share of Prnt Scrn texture glitches in the past, but this is just ridiculous, it took out all the models and even tore a hole in the floor =.= [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| since the arwing 2 was basically just an upgrade of the SF64 arwing i decided to throw it into sketchup and see how it would look with LR's textures (if we managed to get at the models) and the results actually wern't half bad O.o; [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Well I honestly don't like it too much. I'd rather stick with the originala arwing model. Arwing II always looked toy-ish to me. | |

not exactly that one as it would be impossible to obtain their model, but if i can i will make something similar to it. and here's the assault model for those who were curious. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
