2nd : you can make folders (characters, stars, gui etc.) and put textures in it, it'll be easier to find and run just fine. Texture dumping doesn't seperate them, it just puts them all in one folder. and to sort them that would take days maybe even weeks. Like OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAND textures there. I wouldn't want to sort that and i doubt you would either XD Sorting them doesn't do anything for loading the textures either. whether they're all over the map or seperated in different folders it won't affect the loading speed at all. | It actually is a good idea to separate the files into different folders for prosperity, Fox. Every time I get a new bunch of files I place them into different folders, then when something doesn't quite work and I want to go and change it, I don't have to search through 9000 textures, just through a few dozen or hundred. BTW: I have a new screeny with some different idea's for life bars if you're interested, Fox. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A COMPOSITE IMAGE--I CUT AND PASTED PEPPY'S TEXT BUBBLE FROM CORNERIA TO SHOW OFF SOME MORE OF THE COMM TEXT. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| They are Both GREAT HUDs ;D I wouldn't make it Gold/Yellow boarders myself though - even though it looks Wonder.. its just kinda... bright (Blue-ish /Grey-ish/ Black-ish seems more fitting to me like FoxM had) with both your ideas together though, I'm sure its gonna come out awesome | |

... why is it that everything i work for in life is destroyed in seconds when you post? We can keep it the way you want, and if anyone wants to use a different HUD they can. I got to admit the sector Y background looks pretty impressive. Also when you are done with the texture pack would you put the textures in their respective folders, ie: the overview map textures in the overview map folder, so people can modify it easily if they don't like something in this texture mod. I know you probably don't want to do that, but in situations like these not everyone is going to like every choice made. This will also keep you from having to revise every detail 3 or 4 times.

| RE: littlefox39, actually it's Calibri RE: SarificAbominat, We'll see, somethings might end up in separate folders, some might not. | |

If it was the same yellow color of the name text it would be okay. As for silver it would depend on the shade.... @Fox-McCloud3232 I am around quite often actually lol, I come check the forums practically everyday, I just don't usually have much to say, I'm not much of a talker. lol
