Hey! I've got my hands full up here! i wasn't aiming that at you XD i was aiming it at the people who were saying zoness is to dark. and for their information the textures shown in the pictures are the ORIGINAL N64 textures. and unless somebodey other than you or i volunteer to do it, i doubt those textures are going to be replaced at all XD

I have also noticed a darker texture trend with the other planets, but that is what happens when you make things look more realistic I guess.

Ok... your funeral I SERIOUSLY wish you luck though it was a pain in the ass to collect all of these textures and i doubt that's even HALF of what there really is. i guess we'll find out if all of the textures even matter or if they're just duplicates. | Thats Venom right? Pretty accurate. Though Venom's ground on the original seemed more like... "ditch-y" if you see what I mean. But I guess it would be hard to recreate the feeling only by texture swapping. I'll pass on this one, you're lucky sailors!

| Yeesh such a huge lack of activity that i have to double post? >_>; Anyways many people were complaining about the shield guage. and to be honest it was starting to bug me a bit too so i went out and re did the entire thing ONCE AGAIN pixel by pixel. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Notice how it says shield on it. (kinda like in the SNES game) well that "shield" doesn't disappear when you get damaged: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Bravo Looks great ;D!
Note: You should add yellow in the middle and then red at the end of the health bar to indicate shield damage... but idk much about gauges.

| The gauge looks nice, and the shield in the middle does help give a better perspective on what is what to new players (not that any of us are). It also adds a good aesthetic value to the overall appearance of the HUD. I do have one grievance but this probably has more to do with the game itself and not the texture. I was wondering if the gauge would turn red like before when the health is low. If not don't worry about it.
In addition the textures for Zoness are more or less likely duplicated so you only need to change one to change all of them, but that is one hell of an arduous task to change all of the water textures.

Unfortunately to change the color of the texture i would have to use a gradient. and to get the green to black effect i already did and using multiple gradients (one going up and one going to the side for the red -> green effect) is a pain in the ass and could take more than a few hours to execute correctly, let alone make it aesthetically pleasing.

Photoshop has the tools to do almost anything, but it sure can be a pain in the ass as you put it. It takes time to figure out certain things with the gradients, filters, and nitpicking in photoshop, but you don't have to do this since the gauge itself is above acceptable at this point

| I think I like the rainbow health bar the best, was that from the old hack or did you guys make it? And also for the screenshot with the arwing, landmaster and boot icons, I would replace the buttons, title and box with higher quality stuff as well, is that planned to be done? Glad to see the project is going well! | |

Glad to see the project is going well! The rainbow health bar was made by Unaided coder (the first and only person besides us to ever make a texture hack for this game) as well making these health bars pixel by pixel is extremely time consuming. (yes i made it pixel by pixel) we can't just copy and paste the health bar because it's spit up into different pieces, the middle piece winds up getting stretched out (hence why "Shield" looks very distorted_ and we're planning on re doing those button icons and title for the machine select as soon as we can locate them inside the texture dump. thanks for staying interested you should come around more often XD

| 1st : that looks like graffiti (and good one) to me 2nd : you can make folders (characters, stars, gui etc.) and put textures in it, it'll be easier to find and run just fine. | |

Texture dumping doesn't seperate them, it just puts them all in one folder. and to sort them that would take days maybe even weeks. Like OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAND textures there. I wouldn't want to sort that and i doubt you would either XD Sorting them doesn't do anything for loading the textures either. whether they're all over the map or seperated in different folders it won't affect the loading speed at all. Here's the final product of the SF logos on the great fox: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
