| I knew this place would be active by now... and hey look! I fixed my profile and avatar!
I don't really like that Sector Y. I mean, it's of good quality, I just hate it.

| Now those shots are looking sexy right there. XD The only thing I want to say about the Sector Y shot is that it looks a bit too umm solid isn't it supposed to be like a cloud of gas? It's mostly the top left portion of the Y that's bugging me. Sorry for complaining, I know you worked hard on it. >.< You don't have to change it, just a suggestion. :S | |

| I like how the screenshots look now. I'm glad you got rid of my X, Y, and Z designs which were just examples anyway. I wouldn't mind seeing the other two sooner or later, but I feel that every time something looks complete you come up with a better design every once in a while which makes me think that this project will take a lot longer to finish. Oh well as long as it looks good in the end I'll be fine with it.
Also how long does it take to load the textures now. I've clocked Celda around under 2 minutes and that was probably a lot less textures than what you've done so far.

maybe that's because you never shut your computer off. whenever they've been previously loaded they load REALLY fast

| I agree that the Fichina ground would look better a little more icy, Fox... but apart from that it looks good...
Also, the sector-Y was made from pictures of REAL Nebula, so that is more or less what it would really look like, on reflection, I'm going to lighten it up a little because it's a bit dark, but that's pretty much final.
And my computer only takes half a minute tops to load, and my computer was good 4 years ago.

makes you feel more sirprised and as if its a "remake' instead of a 're-do". I've seen some texture packs put the textures of games today to shame. I was amazed at how good some textures made the game look even though the polygons were the same. Texture modification in general can make an old 3D game look like a masterpiece amongst some of the piles of $#!+ we have today.

I'm sorry but the sector X image looks completely different from Y and Z, and it just looks a little odd to me that the sectors are not consistent with each other. In art consistency is key which means you will most likely make thousands of pieces of artwork, but the public will most likely only recognize one of them. In that sense you can't please everyone even if you are a modern day Da Vinci. This also means that I'm not so pleased with the oddity that sector X is amongst the other two sectors. I know manipulating actual nebula's photos may look cool, but if you aren't going to do that for all three then don't do it at all. Unfortunately harshness always comes with the field of art, and as I said before you are not going to please everyone.
