The Planets Thread

So I'm about halfway through Titania, down to the slices that look very similar. That being the case, if some are put in the wrong folder by mistake, will you be able to tell and fix it?

Megaupload is really easy, you don't even need an account there. All you do is go to the megaupload home page, wait until the page loads and a bar with a browse button will appear click the browse button and navigate to the file you want to upload. Fill in the form information, click upload, wait and when it's done copy the link it gives you and then you can post it on the forums. Make sure to save that link somewhere if you uploaded without an account. If you want to have a database of all the stuff you upload make a free account. Hope that makes sense!

Right now I have organized 2,500 of the 8,000 files into their respective folders. My head hurts and I'm thinking about quiting for the night. once I'm done going through the files, and putting them in their folders I will categorize them by planet. Either way I look at this I may be done with the files by the end of the week. It seems quite easy to organize them when you go by size. I don't know how much easier it would be going by planet though, but I think it would hurt my eyes more trying to sort 1 planet at a time.

I don't know how many parts their are per planet so I'm guessing on how many parts there are.

BTW, there are 12 slices which each have 96 frames per planet, (Thus each Planet totals 1152) however you probably won't have all of them. I wasn't convinced that we had all of the files so I've done a texture dump, and this time I'm pretty sure that I've got them all--I'll add those files when you yours back to me,

I'll organize them by size then split them by planet because it causes less strain on my eyes. I probably will be done by tomorrow with all of the planets. By the way I see a lot of Copy of in the titles of some of the pieces. It is understandable to make this mistake, but it has made sorting things a little harder. I don't know if there is 12 slices between the planets because the average I'm getting is around 10. It might be that they are very similar, and I will notice this when I categorize by planet.

Ok slight problem. My computer is lagging trying to copy these files to their folders, and that is causing copies to appear. It is very annoying at the moment, and is causing me to organize more than I need too. I will try to resolve the issue momentarily.

I'm also near completion with Fichina, and I did it instead of Katina because it hurt my eyes trying to sort through them. I am missing some files though. You guys stated 96 per slice, but I have some slices that are missing. I'll check the rest of the files as I go through them to figure out what I missed. by the way I did use the code at the end of the files to locate Fichina files.

Ok I have Fichina done. It's missing a few files though, and it does need a little cleanup.

To add to fichina I'm mostly done with all the textures.

All that is left is to clean up some of the organization.

1. For Fichina use the Fichina upload not the overall planets upload
2. Anything with a 3 or 4 on the folder needs to be organized into 3 groups.
3. Anything in the middle needs to be split into top and bottom.
4. As Andross mentioned before all the files are not present. The bottoms are mostly missing.
5. I'm only human, so please check for mistakes. Noticeable mistake- I put an Aquas texture in one of the Zoness folders accidentally.
